I am a Senior Lecturer of Finance at Wharton.

I am interested in entrepreneurship, venture capital, small businesses, and public policy. My research focuses on empirical analyses that combine new data sources with natural experiments induced by policy reforms.

My motivation lies in the belief that equal opportunity in entrepreneurship generates sustainable economic growth.

I currently teach the MBA course "Venture Capital and the Finance of Innovation" in the Spring and the LLM course "Corporate Finance for Business and Law" in the Fall.
